We offer a variety of outdoor activities in order to show how amazing Swedish nature is. Our mission is to make a sustainable difference on purpose. In order to do so we contribute to the local society by a special “Pay it forward-contribution”.
For us, ecotourism is a way of showing that nature is worth protecting as well as worth visiting. It´s about travelling responsible, protecting the environment as well as focusing on the interpretation of nature. It´s also about giving back to the local community, by strengthening the local economy, as well as to nature and wildlife.
According to TIES - The International Ecotourism Society Ecotourism is defined as:
““responsible travel to natural areas that conserves the environment, sustains the well-being of the local people, and involves interpretation and education””
TIES emphasize that those who implement tours according to the thoughts of Ecotourism should adopt the following principles:
Minimize physical, social, behavioral, and psychological impacts.
Build environmental and cultural awareness and respect.
Provide positive experiences for both visitors and hosts.
Provide direct financial benefits for conservation.
Generate financial benefits for both local people and private industry.
Deliver memorable interpretative experiences to visitors that help raise sensitivity to host countries’ political, environmental, and social climates.
Design, construct and operate low-impact facilities.
Recognize the rights and spiritual beliefs of the Indigenous People in your community and work in partnership with them to create empowerment.
We try to do everything we can to fulfill these principles. Ecotourism is our way of saying that we believe a brighter and more sustainable future is possible!
